State Farm Insurance Product Features

With these unique needs in mind, State Farm Insurance, which has been offering Americans auto insurance since 1922, offers residents health insurance as well as disability plans and indemnity plans. Following is a list of some of the services State Farm offers Californians:

• Supplemental Medical Insurance: This plan offers hospital income, indemnity and confinement policies. The policies cover things like deductibles, co-insurance, transportation, child care, and pet care. It also pays benefits for outpatient surgery, accidental injury, intensive care and extended care.
  
  
• Long-Term Care Insurance: Nursing home, home-health and skilled care are covered once you've met the eligibility requirements. You choose the maximum daily benefit.
  
  
• Health Insurance: State Farm offers individual and family policies through an agreement with Assurant Health. Most plans are PPO policies, allowing members to choose their own doctor, whether in or out of the company's network of doctors.

State Farm also offers student select plans for those who are between 19-23 and in college, a Medicare supplement policy for seniors, and disability income for those who are permanently disabled. In addition, they offer a consumer-driven HSA plan.
