International Association of Benefits started as a non-profit corporation in 1982 in order to promote family financial security and health. Now, with just around 30,000 members, IAB offers families and individuals all over the country options when it comes to choosing health insurance and other benefits. Unlike insurance carriers who require members to meet a deductible or choose a co-insurance, International Association of Benefits treats their subscribers as customers. Their levels of membership vary from the very basic to totally comprehensive, and membership costs range from $45-$250/month.

International Association of Benefits Program Features

Breaking the mold of a standard insurance provider, IAB works to provide outstanding protection without the typical bureaucracy and process. As part of this ongoing effort, International Association of Benefits offers California residents the following discount options:

• Hospitalization: Membership includes a maximum of $1,000 up to 30 days per year, accident medical coverage of $5,000, and an ICU/CCU benefit. To see a physician for outpatient care, the cost is $50.
  
  
• Dental Care: Up to $1,000 reimbursement benefits per person per year, for preventive as well as major care.
  
  
• TeleMed Benefit: With this service, you have access to primary care physicians even when you're not at home, or after hours when he/she is unavailable.
  
  
• Group Term Life Benefit: for the member whose name the membership is in, up to $5,000.Prescription drug discounts of between 20%-80-%. There is no maximum benefit and no waiting period.

IAB also offers its members Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Chiropractic benefits, mail-order hearing aids, vision care, travel assistance, identity theft protection, even emergency roadside assistance.
