Blue Cross of California Product Features

Blue Cross of California, which has been serving the state since just after the depression,  offers residents a wide range of insurance options, including HMOs, PPOs and HSAs. Review the following product descriptions, and when you are ready to move forward, request a BC CA quote online:

• Life&Health Share Plans: This is a comprehensive coverage plan with a 30% co-insurance after deductibles ranging from $500-$5000. Maternity and prescription benefits are available.
     
• Rightplan PPO 40: Three different prescription drug coverage plans are offered: comprehensive, generic  and minimal coverage. Included in the plan is a $40 physician's visit co-pay.
  
  
• BC 3500 Deductible: This plan carries a $3500 deductible. There is a $10/$30 co-pay  for prescriptions  after a separate $500 deductible.
  
  
• Basic PPO 1000/2500:  No prescription or maternity coverage is available.  After meeting  the deductible, doctor's visits revert to a co-pay. Hospitalization  coverage and preventive care is standard.
  
  
• PPO Saver: This plan covers  hospitalization and prescriptions,  child and adult wellness and doctor's visits.  There are two separate  deductibles, one for hospital coverage, one for other  covered  expenses.

Blue Cross California also offers an HMO plan, as well as a consumer directed plan, 3500 Deductible HSA-compatible. In addition, they offer low cost dental options.
